Congratulations to Adrianna Wilson on being awarded a prestigious F31 through the NIDDK.  The title of her F31: Defining the Transcriptional Activity of NR2F6 in Th17 cells.  Well done!

March 2023

On March 31, 2023, our own Sarah Mosure successfully defended her thesis titled: Bridging Structural and Cellular Mechanisms of Ligand-Dependent Nuclear Receptor Activity.  She has done amazing work while in the Kojetin and my labs.  Well done!

Her next adventure?  She will be joining Christoph Rader at Aetheon Therapeutics, Inc. to combat cancer!  Best of luck, Sarah, in your future research endeavors.

This summer we hosted two outstanding interns:  Cheryl Quartey, our summer SURF intern and a rising sophomore at Vanderbilt University, as well as Kaylie Hurtado, a rising junior at Jupiter High School, who was part of the Kenan Fellows High School program.   Both did amazing work in the lab.  Well done!

Team effort: collaboration between Solt lab, High throughput screening, Kojetin lab, and Kamenecka lab pays off!  We have been awarded a NIH R01 to screen for novel REV-ERB small molecules for cancer immunotherapy from the NCI.
